I am certified in Gottman: Levels 1, 2, & 3; Treating Affairs and Trauma, Addiction, Bringing Baby Home, and The Seven Principles for Making Marriage Work; I'm working toward becoming one of only a few Certified Gottman Therapists in NM. I am also certified in Perinatal Mental Health (PMH-C), as well as Financial Social Work (CFSW).I have been fascinated by the complexities of mental health for as long as I can remember, integrating studies in psychology, speech therapy, and hypnotherapy to create a holistic approach to healing. Today, my primary mission is addressing the dire need for high-quality mental health care in New Mexico. As Clinical Director, I am dedicated to building a robust clinical infrastructure by developing a comprehensive supervision model for independent and mid-level therapists, and expanding the availability of Gottman Couples Therapy throughout the state.
My leadership is rooted in a commitment to clinical excellence and team development. By supporting our diverse therapy team and fostering a culture of compassion, I aim to cultivate a new generation of skilled clinicians equipped to serve our community. My passion for this work is deeply personal; having navigated my own journey through panic disorder and remaining free of panic attacks for over 25 years, I am a tireless advocate for those seeking a way out of worry, stress, and anxiety.
This dedication to support also draws from my extensive history in birth work. I spent over 12 years at Dar a Luz women’s health center and co-founded Blissborn, a global childbirth education company that has supported thousands of families.
Whether I am mentoring a fellow therapist or working directly with a client, it remains a great privilege to support people through their struggles and achievements, and I love this work more each day.

Strengths-based approach
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 14 years of experience in mental health. I am licensed in both New Mexico and Colorado, and am trained in EMDR. I specialize in guiding individuals through anxiety, depression, and significant life transitions.
My professional journey has spanned diverse settings, including schools and hospitals, giving me a deep understanding of the many ways life can feel overwhelming. My approach is client-centered and flexible. I avoid a one-size-fits-all mentality, choosing instead to collaborate with you to find the unique path that fits your specific needs.
On a personal level, I am a passionate advocate for the idea that "you are not in this alone." I strive to offer a safe, caring environment where you can grow at your own pace. We will delve deeply into the issues at hand, and collaborate to create next steps for addressing the issues in a way that helps you find your way. I believe deeply in each person’s worth and value, and in supporting your individual journey.
Outside the therapy room, I enjoy recharging amidst the beautiful New Mexico landscape and spending time with family and friends.

Relationships
I am a dedicated and compassionate therapist providing services to individuals, couples, and families. I specialize in working with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, and trauma, offering a supportive and collaborative space where healing and growth can take place.
My approach is client-centered, culturally responsive, and grounded in evidence-based practices. I understand that anxiety can feel overwhelming, depression can feel isolating, and trauma can impact every area of life. Together, we work to identify patterns, build coping skills, strengthen resilience, and process difficult experiences in a safe and empowering environment.
I believe therapy is not one-size-fits-all. Each client’s story, strengths, and goals guide our work together. My goal is to help clients gain insight, develop practical tools, and create meaningful, lasting change.
If you are seeking support, clarity, or healing, I welcome the opportunity to walk alongside you in your journey toward emotional wellness.

I bring together strategic leadership, business expertise, and a deep respect for people. I focus on creating strong, efficient systems while fostering a culture where employees feel supported, clients feel cared for, and the organization can grow with purpose.
My passion for business began early in my career, when I launched my first small venture providing editing and writing services for book authors and newspapers. That entrepreneurial foundation eventually intersected with a deep and lasting commitment to women’s health. In 2007, Laura and I co-founded Blissborn, a childbirth education company dedicated to informed, empowered care.
I later played a key role in the creation and long-term leadership of Dar a Luz, a nonprofit birth center, where I served for more than twelve years. These experiences shaped my belief that well-designed organizations can profoundly improve people’s lives.
Today, I find great meaning in supporting both clients and therapists within our group therapy practice. At Integrition, we strive to be professional, kind, and effective — building systems that run seamlessly so our clients can focus on healing and our therapists can feel genuinely supported. Through thoughtful structure and compassionate leadership, I am proud to contribute to a healthier, more connected world.
